Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Practicum Students
It is important to ASN for the practicum student to have a good and meaningful experience while developing their professional skills. We want to expand to the pool of BCBAs to serve those on the spectrum. We also would like to be a job destination for some of the students and for all of them to share their positive experiences with others.
Practicum students will be exposed to all aspects of ABA therapy and the requirements of being a BCBA. Some of those responsibilities are listed below. On occasion, there are special assignments or projects for the practicum students who might assist in expanding our curriculum and improving our quality of care. Again, we truly want to provide a positive experience.
Responsibilities of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Practicum Students will include the following:

Conduct developmental assessments

Design appropriate, function-based interventions
-
Analyze data collection to determine effectiveness of interventions

Participate in staff training related to implementation of plans
-
Coordinate regularly with clinical director to ensure consistency in company procedures

Supervise RBTs providing services
Qualifications:

Ability to Teach, Mentor, Coach, Manage and Lead

Teaming skills

Must have certification with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board

Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder

Experience with supervision and oversight of staff and program development

Great interpersonal skills and exceptional time management skills

Active Missouri or Kansas license or eligible to apply
